Brian McAlpine (piano)

As a world class multi-instrumentalist, Brian is well known on the Scottish music scene, working with some of the country’s best musicians, with over 67 albums under his belt, along with extensive live touring and countless radio sessions and television appearances. From performing to composing, arranging and producing, his skills reach across a wide range of genres from traditional to contemporary.  As a composer, he has a reputation for being a great listener and an exceptional collaborator when it comes to creating music for visuals and podcasts. Combining traditional composition, soundscape, classical development and contemporary techniques Brian aims to capture and demonstrate a feeling of modern Scottish culture through his music and his approach to both composition and production.
He still finds time to write and produce music.
